Super Bowl snacks are like the filters not only for yours child but also you can serve it to your guest and win their hearts. Starters , fruit pies , salads , baked porridge , vegetables can be part of such bowl serving items that we can take before dinner, in morning and even with our evening tea. Lady of the house should always make a diet chart and plan to make food to be cooked daily.

Snacky – snacky Mickey loves snacky items. He is a very foodie child. Wafers, French fries etc are the snacks that he loves to eat. Mickey is unaware about a healthy diet and healthy snacks. Thought Mickey’s mom shiny tells him to have a healthy and nutritious diet but like every child he is so notorious and careless about his health that he disagree to his mom’s idea.

There is a nice aromatic smell from the kitchen oh ! I think mom is cooking something special today. Mickey enters in his room and start studying , thinking mom will be impressed today. He clears his room also but his heart and soul are all in the kitchen. He is waiting for mom’s call. Mickey ! calls mom and he jumps like anything out of his study table and runs towards the kitchen. Oh wow what a smell he gets lost in it. Asks mom what she had made in snacks today. Mom decorates the bowl with coriander leaves , and tomatoes. How beautiful , tempting and authentic it looks. Wow mom says Mickey , what is it ? He asks but mom says it’s a surprise for you , first you have to taste it and identify what it is. Mickey makes faces and starts eating. Oh it’s yummy hmmm. Its sprouts salad , along with pasta. Oh mom it’s lovely and delicious. I would love to have such snack daily. Now mom is happy her son finally learns to eat a healthy food.

It is a daily routine and a tough task for every mom to make their child understand the difference between healthy and unhealthy food. Most of the children today are unaware about a diet plan which builds up their nutritious and healthy body. Is all depending on how we make and serve the food and make the child to eat it. Like in the case Mickey loves pasta so his mom founds an idea to mix it with sprout and salad to as to make it tasty and healthy diet for her son.

Eating habits build not only our body but also make our thoughts pure , clear and healthy. Eventually though we all our consumed about our health but when it’s the matter of taste.

We ignore our health and consume such useless food items which do nothing good to us.

Though there are many programs , TV shows , animated series books that help us to gain knowledge about a perfect healthy diet but to follow such things very less people are there. In the ancient time there was no such culture to cook food. Every fruit or vegetable item was just plucked and eaten. Cooking , boiling , baking food started later onwards. Adding different spices and flavors , colors , essence , and garnish food material is a culture nowadays. People think until and unless food is not liked by eyes it can’t be tasted and gives a less feeling to eat. Delicious , attractive , and healthy food is equally important. But it should also be taken in the right amount of quantity and also on time. Quality of food and quality diet we all have them daily but it should also be taken on time. Snacks can be decorated and can be made healthier by adding various herbs , green vegetables , and lot of experiments can be done by adding cheese , green leaves , honey , eggs , tofu etc. Due to such innovative ideas only many restaurant run as they follow such art of cooking and garnishing to it.

Truly saying snacks , starters , and appetizer helps to build a diet plan but to make it a perfect healthy diet and nutritious it all depends on its maker. If chef is the master of hotels and restaurants mom are the masters of our home kitchens. So if next time your mom cooks such snack don’t forget to call Mickey at your house. Ingredients:

4 quarts popped popcorn
2 cups dry roasted peanuts
1-1/3 cups sugar
1-1/3 cups packed brown sugar
1 cup dark corn syrup
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup butter, cubed
1/2 teaspoon salt
1-1/2 cups candy corn

Directions:

@ Place popcorn and peanuts in large buttered heat-proof containers or bowls; set aside. In a large heavy saucepan, combine the sugars, corn syrup, water, butter and salt. Cook over medium heat until a candy thermometer reads 285° (soft-crack stage), stirring occasionally.

@ Pour over popcorn mixture; stir gently to coat. Stir in candy corn. Drop into bite-size pieces onto waxed paper. Cool completely. Store in an airtight container. Yield: 6 quarts.
