48.21 343.10 COUNTY AND DISTRICT SOCIETIES.
48.22 A county society for the prevention of cruelty to animals may be formed in any
48.23county and a district society for the prevention of cruelty to animals may be formed in
48.24any group of two or more contiguous or noncontiguous counties or parts of counties
48.25by not less than seven incorporators. County and district societies shall be created as
48.26corporations under chapter 317A and as provided in the bylaws of the state federation.
48.27No county or district society may conduct investigations outside the boundaries of the
48.28county or counties included in the county or district society.
